SquatPulse Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the SquatPulse iOS app. SquatPulse is an on-device squat-training companion with Pocket mode, Camera mode, workout counting, duration tracking, and local history.
2. How the app handles data

Special note on face data: SquatPulse does not collect, detect, process, store, or upload any face data. The app uses only two Apple Vision APIs — VNDetectHumanBodyPoseRequest (body pose detection) and VNDetectHumanHandPoseRequest (hand pose detection) — for body joint angle estimation and gesture commands respectively. The app does not call VNDetectFaceRectanglesRequest, VNDetectFaceLandmarksRequest, VNDetectFaceCaptureQualityRequest, or any other face detection or recognition API, and does not use CIDetector for face detection. Camera frames are used solely for the body-pose and hand-pose analysis described above; no facial information is extracted, saved, or transmitted from them.
3. No account, advertising, or tracking
The current version does not require an account and does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell, rent, or use the local information described above for targeted advertising. The app does not operate a server that receives your camera frames, raw motion readings, settings, or workout history.
If you enable iOS device backups, local app data may be affected by Apple’s backup and restore services. Those services are controlled by Apple’s settings and policies; they are not a transfer by SquatPulse to our server.
4. Permissions
Camera mode requires camera permission. Pocket mode requires Motion & Fitness permission. You can review or change these permissions in iPhone Settings. If you deny a permission, the related training mode may not work; this does not prevent you from viewing history already stored on the device.
5. Retention and deletion
Settings and workout summaries remain on your device until you clear them in the app, where available, or delete the app. iOS handles the app container after deletion under its system rules. If a device backup exists, manage its retention through Apple’s backup settings.
Because the current version has no account or cloud service, we do not maintain an account database from which we can remotely retrieve, alter, or delete your workout records.
6. Children and health statement
SquatPulse does not collect personal information from children. It provides general workout counting and history only; it does not provide medical, diagnostic, rehabilitation, or professional health advice.
7. Changes and contact
Before enabling an account, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, HealthKit, or any feature that changes these data practices, we will update this policy, the in-app explanation, and the App Store privacy disclosure.

本政策应与应用商店中的隐私披露保持一致。如本政策与应用实际功能不一致，以更新后的公开政策和实际应用行为为准。

关于面部数据的特别说明：SquatPulse 不收集、不检测、不处理、不保存、不上传任何面部数据。本应用仅使用 Apple Vision 框架的 VNDetectHumanBodyPoseRequest（人体姿态检测）与 VNDetectHumanHandPoseRequest（手部姿态检测）两项 API，分别用于识别身体关节角度和手势指令。本应用不调用 VNDetectFaceRectanglesRequest、VNDetectFaceLandmarksRequest、VNDetectFaceCaptureQualityRequest 或任何其他面部检测或识别 API，也不使用 CIDetector 进行面部检测。相机画面帧仅用于上述人体姿态与手部姿态的实时分析，不会从中提取、保存或传输任何面部信息。
3. 不收集、不追踪与不出售
当前版本不要求注册账户，不接入广告 SDK、第三方分析 SDK 或跨应用追踪功能，也不会将上述本地数据出售、出租或用于定向广告。因为本应用不运营用于接收这些数据的服务器，应用本身不会将相机画面、原始运动传感器读数、设置或训练历史发送给我们。
如果你在 iOS 设置中启用了设备备份，应用容器内的本地数据可能受 Apple 提供的备份与恢复机制影响；该机制由 Apple 的设置和政策控制，而不是由 SquatPulse 向我们的服务器传输。
4. 权限管理
相机模式需要相机权限，口袋模式需要运动与健身权限。你可以在 iPhone 的“设置”中随时查看或修改对 SquatPulse 的授权。拒绝相应权限时，对应训练模式可能无法运行，但不会影响你查看已保存在本机的历史记录。
5. 数据保留与删除
训练摘要和设置会保留在你的设备上，直至你在应用内清除相应内容（如该版本提供此功能）或卸载本应用。卸载后，本地应用容器会由 iOS 按系统规则处理；如存在设备备份，备份副本的保留与删除请按 Apple 的相关设置操作。
由于当前版本不提供账户或云端服务器，我们不持有可用于远程检索、修改或删除你的训练记录的账户数据库。
6. 儿童与健康声明
SquatPulse 不面向儿童收集个人信息。SquatPulse 仅提供一般性的运动计数和训练记录功能，不提供医疗、诊断、康复评估或专业健康建议；如有医疗或运动安全疑问，请咨询合格的专业人士。
7. 政策更新与联系我们
如果我们新增账户、云同步、分析、广告、HealthKit 或任何改变本政策中数据实践的功能，我们会在启用前更新本政策、应用内说明和应用商店隐私披露。
